Ms. Cesari's Survival Resources
All the resources you need to survive Ms. Cesari's science classes AND additional FUN science websites and apps to use outside of the classroom!
General Classroom Tools
Google Classroom
This year, we will be using Google Classroom as a social media platform for each class. Assignments will be posted, completed, and collected on Google Classroom, students will be able to communicate inside and outside of the physical classroom using the site, and teachers can communicate with students and parents. All students will be setup with an account and enrolled in a class during the first couple of weeks of school, so don't worry about creating an account.

Google Drive Shared Folder
Here you will find a shared folder for all of Ms. Cesari's science classes. In this folder you will find a While You Were Out spreadsheet with important assignment information, important forms, worksheets, and other class information. This folder will be updated regularly so that students and parents can keep up to date on everything related to science class.

Classcraft
A classroom management and student incentive application. Here, students will be earning Experience Points for excellent behavior, losing Health Points for less than ideal behavior, all the while working collaboratively with a team to ensure success for all, and earning some pretty sweet powers along the way. Study, Study, Study!
StudyBlue
One of my personal favorites. Create a FREE account with StudyBlue and make all of the online flashcards you can imagine. Organize your flashcards by class, subject, or even test. StudyBlue saves all of your flashcards in your own personal "Backpack." While studying, StudyBlue will track your progress, giving you a mastery percentage each time you quiz yourself. If flashcards are your preferred method of studying, StudyBlue is a great tool for you!

Quizlet
Another FREE online flashcard website. Similar to StudyBlue, Quizlet allows you to track your progress while studying, and even share your flashcards with friends and classmates. Do you enjoy a little healthy competition? Take it to Quizlet where you can compete with your friends while studying at the same time. Another great tool for those who like flashcards!

Citizen Science and Other Fun Apps!
iNaturalist
For all of the nature and biodiversity fans out there! iNaturalist is a citizen science app that allows you to upload images of organisms and either identify them yourself or submit for another citizen scientist to identify. Great for family outdoor outings, hiking trips, or just playing in your backyard.
